Non-Contact Thickness Measurement for Production Lines
Laser displacement sensors measure thickness inline, without touching the material, with live monitoring, alerts and full batch history. Built for rubber, electrode, film and web lines.

Optex FA CD22 · laser displacement sensor
Contact gauges mark the surface, wear out, and can't keep up with line speed. Offline sampling means you only catch a thickness defect after the batch is already run.
Two laser sensors. One continuous thickness reading.
- 1Two CD22 sensors face each other across the moving material, a fixed distance apart.
- 2Each sensor measures its distance to the near surface with a red laser. No contact.
- 3Thickness = the fixed gap minus the two distances, recomputed every 500 µs.
- 4The value streams live to the dashboard, where limits and alerts are applied.
The live monitoring layer Rajdeep builds on top
The sensor gives a number. We turn it into a system your line actually runs on: real-time visibility, alerts and traceable batch records.

Live dashboard
Thickness across the web in real time, per sensor, with in-range status.
Out-of-tolerance alerts
Automatic alerts to email / WhatsApp the moment thickness leaves the band.
Batch traceability
Historical records, exportable per batch for QC and audits.
Cloud or fully on-premise
Runs inside your plant network if cloud isn't allowed. Your choice.
